Memory Care at Wentworth Manor is housed in a secure neighbourhood built for residents living with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and similar conditions and is available in both Assisted Living (known provincially as Type B – Secure Space) and Long-Term Care (Type A) neighbourhoods. Our care team is trained to support residents experiencing changes to their memory and cognition, with a person-focused care philosophy.

Familiar faces and thoughtful care
Programming built for engagement
Music therapy is a regular part of life in our secure neighbourhood, and our recreation team run regular art and sensory activities to spark joy and invite residents to live in the moment. Sessions are adapted so everyone can take part, and our team has experience supporting shy and hesitant residents to participate.
Partnering with families
Families know their loved one best. We involve family members to learn about routines, history, preferences, and the things that bring comfort, and we build that into daily care. Families are welcome here, and our team keeps communication open.
